West African States rumors of new 50,000-franc note are false

According to an article on SeneDirect dated 1 April 2016, the Banque Centrale des Etats de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (BCEAO) plans to introduce a new 50,000-franc note on 30 April 2016. The new denomination is orange. The front of the note is inspired by information and communication technologies, illustrated by a touch pad. The back of the note depicts a pride of lions on the savannah.
However, according to Fabien Louart: There is an error in the french text: On the note, it's written "cinquante milles" (with "s" at "mille") instead of "cinquante mille"... In french the Word "mille" is never written with "s", éventuellement in plurial.
Open further examination, the image below appears to have been based upon the 5,000-franc note, with the colors changed and text manipulated, and the signature combination is from 1990.

According to the Banque Centrale des États de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (BCEAO), a new 500-franc note was issued 30 November 2012. This note dated (20)12 has been confirmed with suffix B for Benin, C for Burkino Faso, K for Senegal, and T for Togo, and dated (20)13 with suffix K and T.

A new signature combination has been confirmed for the 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000-franc notes from the West African States. All notes are dated (20)10. The three denominations have been confirmed with the country code of D for Mali, which makes these P415, P417, and P418. The 5,000 and 10,000-franc denominations have also been confirmed with the country code of K for Senegal (P717 and P718). If anyone has this signature combination on notes with other country codes, please send scans of same.

I think it is important to announce the fake ones. It will save some collectors from buying fake notes as genuine ones. Even I bought as genuine at first glance. Therefore I wrote this short warning:
COUNTERFEIT WARNING - West African States Pick 314C 10,000 francs dated 2001
- The most eye catching difference is the silver foil segmented security thread. The actual note has a very shiny one whereas the fake note has a rather dull one.
- The actual note has more lively and darker colors and the fake one has more pale colors and a lighter pink underprint.
- Signatures do not match with what should be in 2001. Both sides scans of a genuine note dated 2001 are shown to show that it has a different signature for "Le Président du Conseil des Ministres."
- Although it is a high quality counterfeit, the paper still feels not genuine with a careful touch.
- On a genuine note, the digit four in the serial number will be closed at top, but on fake notes the top of the four is open.
