According to an article in The Jakarta Post dated 28 October 2011, Bank Indonesia issued newly designed banknotes denominated in 20,000, 50,000, and 100,000 rupiah (US$2.25, 5.67, and 11.35, respectively) on 1 August 2011 in commemoration of Youth Pledge Day, although they bear no special commemorative text or images.
