Pakistan to demonetize 5-rupee note (B230) on 01.01.2012

According to a press release issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, the 5-rupee note (B230) originally introduced 8 July 2008 will be demonetized on 1 January 2011 and replaced by a coin.
