Djibouti new 40-franc commemorative note (B205) confirmed

The Banque Centrale de Djibouti introduced this 40-franc note to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Djibouti’s independence from France, which took place on 27 June 1977.

Djibouti bank governor died 11.01.2013

According to a press release on the web site of Banque Centrale de Djibouti, bank governor Feu M. Djama Mahamoud Haid died on 11 January 2013. Collectors should keep their eyes open for a new signature combination.
