Solomon Islands reported to introduce commemorative 40-dollar note and 2-dollar coin in July 2018

According to an article on SIBC, on 10 May 2018 the Central Bank of Solomon Islands announced plans to introduce a new 40-dollar note and 2-dollar coin to commemorate the country’s 40th anniversary of independence. Both are currently in production and are expected to be received in time for introduction in July.
