On 31 August 2011, Banco Central De Reservea del Perú introduced the following three new banknotes.


50 nuevos soles (US$18.35). Red. Front: Abraham Pinto Valdelomar. Back: Templo Nuevo, Chavin de Huantar, Ancash; coat of arms. Solid security thread with demetalized PERU 50 BCRP. Watermark: Abraham Pinto Valdelomar, pixelated rooster, and electrotype 50. Printer: Unknown. 140 x 65 mm.
