Poland issues commemorative 10-zloty note

On 3 November 2008, the National Bank of Poland introduced a new 10-zloty note to commemorate the 90th anniversary of regaining independence. 80,000 notes were packaged in a folder and sold for PLN15. The note was engraved by Maciej Kopecki.

Pink and orange. Front: Coat of arms; Belweder Palace; Commander Józef Piłsudski. Back: White eagle; Monument of the Heroic Deed of Polish Legions in Kielce. Solid security thread with microprinted 10 Zł. Watermark: Piłsudski and electrotype denomination. Printer: PWPW S.A.
