The Thai text at lower right back of the 20-, 50-, and 100-baht notes originally read (Penalty for making counterfeit banknotes is life imprisonment, or up to twenty years of imprisonment and up to forty thousands Baht of fine), but in 2018 was changed to read (Making counterfeit banknotes is a crime, and will be punished due to Criminal law).
